（澳洲生活網訊）西澳首府珀斯在上周診斷出2起麻疹病例，衛生廳也因此列舉了麻疹病人曾到過的地方並發出警告，任何人出現發燒及其他併發症的，請儘快就醫。據傳染病專家Armstrong醫生介紹，麻疹發病的前後四天都是傳染期，他還表示，如果有人在兩周之內接觸過麻疹病人，出現發燒並發其他癥狀，包括咳嗽、流鼻水、眼睛難受、皮疹的，應該留在家裡，並諮詢醫生。
據ABC報道，第一起病例是一名從東京經新加坡來到珀斯的乘客，第二起病例是一名在海外旅行歸來的澳洲人。
衛生廳傳染病總監Paul Armstrong說，這兩個病例中，可能接觸過他們的衛生人員都接到了通知，但是對於公共場所的人就沒有可能一一通知。
麻疹是嚴重的、高傳染性的病毒性疾病，通過病人咳嗽和噴嚏的飛沫傳染。
