位于巴西的亚马逊雨林（Amazon rainforest）制造了全球约20％的氧气，有着「世界之肺」的称号。然而这座全球最潮湿的巨大森林，正面临前所未有的野火危机，以史无前例的规模燃烧中，大火已经持续三周。

包括奥斯卡影帝李奥纳多（Leonardo DiCaprio）、小贾斯汀（Justin Bieber）、拉丁小天后卡蜜拉（Camila Cabello）、名模卡拉迪乐芬妮（Cara Delevingne），以及球星C.罗纳度（Cristiano Ronaldo）和姆巴佩（Kylian Mbappé）等各界名人，全都站出来为亚马逊雨林发声。

事实上，与去年相比，巴西境内的野火数量增加了80％，且超过半数都发生在亚马逊地区，对环境和生态造成严重破坏。专家更指出，让“地球之肺”窒息的凶手，其实就是人类。

亚马逊雨林长年潮湿，即便是在干季，也很难着火，不像是加州或是澳洲的灌木丛，所以势必是人为。

起因可能是牧场主人或是伐木工人，为了想要快速“整理”并利用土地，才选择用放火的方式。

更可悲的是，极右派的巴西总统波索纳洛，甚至指控正在发生的亚马逊大火，很可能是非政府组织自己放的火，目的是让巴西政府受到国际舆论批评。

实际上，波索纳洛本人也完全不重视环境保护政策。在他上任以来不仅废除了亚马逊雨林内的原住民保护区，更鼓励开垦雨林作为牧场与农地，并让农业与採矿财团进驻，全是因为心中只有“发大财”。

因此各界名人站出来，呼吁大众一同发声，希望通过舆论压力希望巴西政府能正视这项议题。

美国太空总署NASA日前也发布了一张“亚马逊雨林卫星图”，可以看到满满的红点，每一分钟以三个足球场的面积在持续燃烧，“永远无法恢复的临界点”就快要达到。

直到国际抨击日渐变多，巴西总统波索纳洛才表示，无论起火原因为何，我们对于犯罪是零容忍，即便是生态环境也是一样，我们将会採取行动，打击森林滥伐。

希望亚马逊雨林能够尽快恢复往日的生机！
