如何对外国人表达你的关心?– 适度的英文表达用法

(澳洲生活网)每当遇到困难时,身边小伙伴投来关爱的目光,问一句“你还好吗”,总能让人感觉特别贴心。

不过,换作英文,你要格外当心哟~ 因为像What’s your problem?这种话可不能乱说~ 它的意思是 “你什么毛病啊?” 而What’s wrong with you?又或者Why are you such a mess?也都和关爱的眼神不搭……

所以,今天要和小伙伴们掰清楚这句话怎么问才够暖~

  1. What’s wrong? / Is anything wrong?

出什么事了?

例:I kept calling you last night, but you didn’t answer the phone. What’s wrong/Is anything wrong?

我昨晚一直给你打电话但你都没接,出什么事了?

  1. Is something bothering / troubling you?

你有什么烦心事吗?/你没事吧?

例:Is something bothering you? You don’t seem to be able to concentrate.

你没事吧?你好像没法集中注意力。

感觉小伙伴有心事,你还可以这样问:

Is something on your mind? / Do you have something on your mind? /What’s on your mind?

你担心什么呢?

You’re not yourself today. / You don’t seem to be yourself today.

你今天有点心神不宁。

  1. Are you OK / all right?

你还好吧?

通常你感觉小伙伴不太对头时,都可以这样问,或者:

Is everything OK / all right? 你没什么事吧?

  1. What’s going on?

出什么事了?

或者: What happened? / What’s happening?

出什么事了?
