Guest: No, I’ll just pay in cash. Do you accept U.S. Dollars.

Waiter: Yes. But we only have Chinese yuan for change. And the exchange rate is one hundred U.S. Dollar to RMB 804. Do you mind that?

3.Sign the Bill

签字付账

4.Paying by Traveller’s Cheques

用旅行支票付账

Guest: Do you accept traveller’s cheque?

Waiter: Yes, sir. But could you give me your address and some identification?

5.Using the Vouchers

Waiter: Excuse me, sir. Do you need anything else? If not, do you mind if I bring you your bill? It is nearly closing time.

Guest: I’m sorry, check now, please.

更新於 :2024-12-19 01:50 文/清箫   今天继续讲《古文辞类纂》。上期讲了姚鼐在此书序目中所谓的神、理、气、味、格、律、声、色,这是序目里最关键的部份。下面我会结合该序目以及不同文体的范文,带大家一起欣赏古文,提升鉴赏与写作水平。古文有些写法在现代依然不过时,取决于学者怎样运用。希望能帮到大家。 《古文辞类纂》序目最关键的一段是:“凡文之体类十三,而所以为文者八,曰:神、理、气、味、格、律、声、色。神、理、气、味者,文之精也;格、律、声、色者,文之粗也。然苟舍其粗,则精者亦胡以寓焉。学者之于古人,必始而遇其粗,中而遇其精,终则御其精者而遗其粗者。”一是简介古文分类,二是概述构成一篇文章的神、理、气、味、格、律、声、色。现在我们简单回顾一下此书的13个文体类别:论辨、序跋、奏议、书说、赠序、诏令、传状、碑志、杂记、箴铭、颂赞、辞赋、哀祭。这13类文体或许乍看难以理解,我们不妨进一步归纳,其实可以归为三大类: 1、说理(论辨、序跋、奏议、书说、赠序、诏令) 2、记事(传状、碑志、杂记) 3、抒情(箴铭、颂赞、辞赋、哀祭) 这样是不是更加简单清晰了?论辨、序跋、奏议、书说、赠序、诏令之文以理为主;传状、碑志、杂记以事为主;箴铭、颂赞、辞赋、哀祭主写情。透过姚鼐所列文体的顺序,可知他认为学文应当先学议论文,后学叙事文,最后学对辞藻精美要求较高的抒情文。我们试分析他如此安排的原因:无论是否能成为文学家,都要条理清晰,明辨是非,所以议论文是基础。记事文比议论文稍难一点,比如给一个人作传,或写墓志铭,至少要对此人的生平全面了解,并在诸多大小事中取舍,挑出最重要的事,且次序严谨,还要真实,所以很考验功底。至于颂赞、辞赋、哀祭等重在抒情的文体,写作难度更大,但即使写得不好也没关系,至少前面已经学会写最重要的议论文和记事文。   (图:Adobe Stock) 再来看《古文辞类纂》所选文章的朝代比例。其中,先秦文占11%;两汉文占20%;六朝文占1%;唐宋文占59%;明文占5%;清文占4%。唐宋文比例最大,在唐宋文中,大多数都是八大家的作品,即韩愈、柳宗元、欧阳修、苏洵、苏轼、苏辙、曾巩、王安石的文章。而六朝文比例最小。上期介绍过“桐城三祖”的文学观,结合上期内容,各位想必不会对上述比例感到意外。… Read More
